Baby of the Month Competition Update

Since launching in January 2015, the Baby of the Month has become the UK’s leading baby photography competition.

After switching to a bi-monthly competition format in 2020 (due to Covid-19), we’re pleased to announce the competition will return on a monthly basis from January 2023.

New Prizes from 2023

From February 2023, prizes will be as follows:

  • 5 Winners every month will each receive a £50 Boots voucher and a Winners certificate
  • 5 Top-10 Finalists (ie. runners-up) will receive a certificate and automatic entry into the Baby of the Year competition.
  • The overall Baby of the Year winner will receive £5000

Each monthly and annual competition will continue to be judged using our 4 judging panels: Photographers, Mums, Sponsors, and the Public Vote.

Where will the images be featured online?

The Baby of the Month Facebook page will feature a Pinned Post, which will display the web address of the Public Voting area.

Baby of the Month will continue to send an SMS and Email to all entrants when a new competition opens, with details on how you and your family/friends can vote for your baby’s image.

Competition dates

June & July 2022 entries – Voting dates: 1st August – 31st August 2022
August & September 2022 entries – Voting dates: 3rd October – 1st November 2022
October, November & December 2022 entries – Voting dates: 3rd January – 31st January 2023

Baby of the Year 2021/22

The Baby of the Year 2021/22 competition will open in February 2023, featuring Winners and Top-10 Finalists from:

  • April 2021 – December 2021
  • January – December 2022
