Sofia wins £5000 and named Baby of the Year 2025!

Baby Sofia has claimed the 2025 Baby of the Year title!

With 120 entries in the 2025 Baby of the Year competition, Sofia’s image came out on top and was most popular with our photographer and sponsor judging panels, and she claims the title of Baby of the Year 2025, plus a cheque for £5000!

Sofia’s image was captured by Mark Swinford Photography (Horsforth,Leeds), who have achieved much success in our competition with 34 winners and 27 top-10 finalists since they started entering in 2015.

This is Mark’s first winning image in the Baby of the Year competition, and he told us:

After 30 years and thousands of babies photographed, winning this award is a true privilege. We’re proud to represent our area in the Baby of the month national competition, and nothing beats welcoming back parents we once photographed as babies themselves. We’re delighted for Sofia’s image to be chosen as the winner of the 2025 Baby of the Year competition.
