Competition success for Photographer Lydia Baker and baby Shailah

It’s a first win of 2017 for photographer Lydia Baker in February 2017’s Baby of the Month Competition! Her image of baby Shailah impressed our Mum’s judging panel, and Shailah can look forward to receiving a £100 Mothercare voucher and entry into the 2017 Baby of the Year competition, where she has the chance to win £5000!

Following her success, we spoke to Lydia to discover more about her and the studio: “I was born and raised in Sidmouth, Devon and love being a professional and creative photographer.

After opening my studio in 2007 I’ve never looked back. We have a relaxed environment, capturing creative and natural images of you, your family, friends and even pets too! We also love location-based shoots and can record any special event, or simply take family shots on the beach or a setting of your choice!

Wedding photography is also one of our specialities, we maintain a calm, discreet presence on your most special day and record details you might otherwise forget! I have been a finalist in the Westcountry Wedding Awards over the last years. We are very privileged to have been involved in numerous weddings to date and have a wealth of ideas and experience to share with you!
