Success for Mike Skidmore and Baby Hanna

Congratulations to Mike Skidmore of Barrett & Coe Northampton! His image of baby Hanna has secured him his very first Baby of the Month winning entry, in the June 2016 competition.

Mike has been running the Barrett & Coe Northampton studio since September 2014. Previously, he worked as a Company Secretary for a Group Charity, and prior to that worked in banking for 24 years.

“Photography has been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. It might even be a genetic thing, as my Dad was a keen photographer too. I remember Mum telling stories of holding him by the ankles whilst he hung over the edge of some precipice in Derbyshire so that he could ‘get the shot’. Whilst I haven’t gone to quite those lengths, I have been know to be up at crazy hours of the morning to drive to locations for that sunrise – even on holiday!”

Since working as a photographer, Mike’s met many families and has enjoyed capturing moments which they can treasure forever. He is committed to offering the highest levels of customer service and to the needs of his customer.

Mike says: “The best thing about my job is knowing that my work will adorn clients’ walls for years to come, and will continue to give them pleasure each time they look at it. Every shoot is different, which is what makes each one enjoyable!”

His studio is conveniently located on Moulton Park, a few minutes drive to the North of the town centre. With parking available and a good bus service from the town centre, the studio is ideally located for all. The studio is on the ground floor so it is easily accessible. It is also equipped with baby changing facilities and a bottle warmer.
