We’re pleased to announce Mark Swinford has achieved three winning images in January 2024’s Baby of the Month competition!
Mark’s images of Grace, Arjan and Beau were popular with each of our Photographer, Mum, and Sponsor judging panels meaning each baby can look forward to receiving a £50 Boots voucher, plus a place in the 2024 Baby of the Year competition with the chance to win £5000!
Commenting on the win Mark told us:
“This is fantastic news! We’ve achieved many winners over the years but to achieve three in the same competition is unbelievable. We’re super proud of the team at the studio and look forward to presenting our clients with their prizes!”
Mark Swinford Photography is one of Yorkshire’s leading portrait studios. Based in Horsforth, Leeds, and established for over 25 years, it is run by Mark and his wife Tracy, along with a small dynamic, and dedicated team. The studio is well-equipped, with air-conditioning and easy access via public transport or by car, with off-street parking adjacent to the studio building.
Mark started his career in Medical photography and also with one of the leading portrait and wedding photographers in the county, training and then moving on to being a fully qualified photographer. Among Mark’s qualifications are 2 City & Guilds, qualified in the MPA, BIPP, SWPP & CrGoP, plus membership in two invite-only exclusive groups of some of the best portrait photographers in the country.
Mark’s passion and commitment to his craft have enabled him to take the best from his classic training and blend it with the latest creative techniques, with the help of his team of staff who are always changing, re-inventing, and keeping the studio-style fresh and at the leading edge of photography.

Had our newborn shoot with our 11-day-old baby girl, was amazing from start to finish
We knew our baby girl was in the safest hands, and we had an amazing time at the shoot, had time to change and feed in between and nothing was a rush or a problem!
So professional and just really captured how precious our little one is! Would definitely recommend!
